About the meal
Because of the natural products, the meals contain many healthy nutrients. In addition, it is packed with vitamins and minerals, providing you with a good daily intake.
Our meal is free of preservatives, added sugars, and synthetic colors, flavors, and fragrances.
The right fats are good for our health. For example, nuts and seeds are good for your LDL cholesterol and protect against certain cardiovascular diseases. In addition, they are a source of energy, so excellent to start your day with!
The meal is a nice alternative to your regular breakfast or lunch. Also, you can eat the meal later in the day or spread it throughout the day. The meal is not a substitute for a varied diet. You eat this in conjunction with other meals. Otherwise, you won’t get an adequate variety of nutritional value. We recommend a varied diet at all times.
You will receive from us the number of meals you ordered in a take-a-way package. However, we do not supply the fruit with it, due to freshness guarantee. You also have to buy the optional oil yourself.
Divide the meal over two days. Quite simply through our take-a-way tray. You can then try to eat a little more each day which trains your body to be able to process more at once. Just make sure you take one less portion of food to avoid overeating.
Preparation
In principle, you may do this, provided you don’t do it too often. Fruit already contains plenty of natural sugars. If you use honey too often, you will consume too many sugars. We recommend adding honey at most once a week or less. Also keep in mind that high consumption of honey puts a lot of pressure on the global bee population. Always choose fairly produced honey, preferably from a local beekeeper.
We prescribe extra virgin olive oil (1st cold pressing) or flaxseed oil but any other good vegetable oil is also allowed of course. Make sure you use a good quality oil, preferably organic and as little processed as possible. Poor quality oil will prevent you from getting the right nutrients, which will eliminate the desired effect.
This is entirely to your liking! You can vary it completely. Choose one (or more) fruits to suit your taste. The fruit is a real tastemaker for breakfast. Just be careful not to eat too much fruit. One piece or two handfuls with the meal is sufficient. Here are some examples of fruits you can use (note: list is not complete).
Apple, apricots, avocado, banana, blackberries, blood orange, blueberries, cherries, currants, dates, figs, galia melon, grapes white or blue, guava, kanzi, kiwi, lemon, lime, lychees, mango, mandarin, nectarine, nispel, orange, papaya, passion fruit, peach, pear, pineapple, plums, pomegranate, raspberries, strawberries, tamarind, watermelon.
It depends. We do recommend that you use 75ml for 600kcal and 125ml for 900kcal. However, this is a guideline. Want your breakfast a little bit more soupy? Then you can add a little more water. Want the meal to be more solid? Then, you simply add a little less water. Just try it out and choose your own composition.
No, we don’t recommend using dairy. Humans are not made to process dairy. In fact, many people have a lactose intolerance without even knowing or noticing it. As a result, the lactose is not easily digested. In addition, we get calcium from many other products.
